MG Baltic Media, the media arm of MG Baltic, a major Lithuanian conglomerate, is considering going public. "There are intentions but no decision has been taken yet. We have not decided yet how many shares we would offer," Renata Maksimaviciene, investment project manager, told the Verslo Zinios business daily. She also said that Amber Trust II, an equity fund, intended to divest its shares in the LNK TV channel, which is controlled by MG Baltic Media, as part of the IPO.

Ryanair, the Ireland-based budget airline, said it would phase out service between Stockholm's Skavsta airport and Kaunas in late May. Kaunas Airport director Kestutis Cucenas was quoted as saying that Ryanair gave no explanation for its decision to discontinue flights, though the most probable reason was low passenger numbers.

As of April 29 programs on Estonia's ETV were aired digitally. The programs are free for viewers and can be viewed with the assistance of a digibox. Director Ainar Ruussaar said that ETV's digital picture can be received within a radius of about 80 kilometers from Tallinn, 80 kilometers of the Valgjarv TV tower and up to 60 kilometers from Parnu.
