Visa deal opens doors to New Zealand

TALLINN - While Baltic countries remain fixated on securing a visa deal with the United States, a lesser-known visa agreement came into effect on April 2 allowing young people to undertake working holidays in New Zealand. Under the working holiday scheme, 100 Estonian citizens aged between 18 and 30 will be allowed to travel and work in New Zealand for up to 12 months each year.A similar deal allowing young people to work and travel through Australia had been earlier introduced.
