Latvia to mark Anti-Racism Day on March 21

RIGA - As the secretariat of the special assignments minister for society integration reported on March 21 Latvia will mark International Anti-Racism Day.
To promote tolerance in Latvia's society, an event for high school students "All Are Different. All Are Equal" is planned at the World Trade Center on March 21.
The event will also include a discussion "The Face of Racism on the Screen", with young people from 15 schools in Latvia, representatives of the Latvian Ombudsman's Office, Afrolat association and others organizations set to take part in the debate.
A photo campaign "We Are For Diversity" is also scheduled to take place at the center in which school children will have an opportunity to be photographed together with participants of the event. Participants will also receive informative materials on the campaign in the Council of Europe.
