Spain supports Lithuania's aspiration to hold OSCE chairmanship in 2010

Spain supports Lithuania's objective to preside over the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in 2010, Ambassador of the OSCE's current president of Spain Carlos Sanchez De Boyado told President Valdas Adamkus in Vienna on Thursday [March 8].
"Spain, just like many other countries believes that you are ready to preside at the OSCE and I hope you will by supported,' Boyado said and assured that his country supported Lithuania as OSCE president and its aim of drawing attention to the solution of frozen conflicts in Georgia and Moldova.
In his turn, Adamkus told at the Wednesday [March 7] meeting the Lithuania appreciated Spain's leadership in promoting inter-cultural dialogue, which also has a contribution from Lithuania.
