Trio Wanderer is a group of three French musicians who explore a musical world that spans the centuries 's from Mozart and Haydn to the present. Acclaimed for its extraordinarily sensitive style, the trio is one of the world's foremost chamber ensembles, and its members are said to have an almost telepathic understanding of one another. The concert will be held in the Blackheads' House in Riga.

DAY OF RESTORATION OF INDEPENDENCE

Lithuanians mark the post-Soviet restoration of their country's independence with a public holiday and nation-wide celebrations. In Vilnius, events start at noon with a flag-raising ceremony on Independence Square and an open-door time at the Seimas. At 2:30 p.m. an orchestra parade on Independence and Cathedral squares begins; at 4 p.m. there will be a concert at the Vilnius Concert and Sport Hall; and in the evening there will be speeches and a fireworks show.
