Poland reconfirms interest in atomic plant, Kirkilas says that private investment possible

VILNIUS - Poland's foreign minister on Jan. 30 restated the country's intention to sign an agreement on building a new nuclear power plant in Lithuania, while Prime Minister Gediminas Kirkilas hinted that private investment ought to be allowed to participate in the multi-billion euro project.As Anna Fotyga, Poland's foreign minister, told reporters, "Poland is really interested in taking part in this project and has a clear position on this matter.
