26 Estonian citizens are in Russian prisons for crimes committed in Russian territory

TALLINN - There are some 26 Estonian citizens in Russian prisons, who are convicted of crimes committed in Russian territory, the Estonian daily newspaper Eesti Paevaleht reports citing Russian newspaper Trud.
Nine persons are serving sentences in the Pskov region, five in Moscow, three in St. Petersburg, and the rest, in other regions of Russia, a spokesman for the federal penitentiary service said.
Data by the penitentiary service do not show how many of the said 26 Estonian citizens are ethnic Estonians and how many Russian-speakers.
