Incumbent Arnold Ruutel has secured 135 votes and Socialist MEP Toomas Hendrik Ilves 144 votes in the electoral college that gathers to elect the Estonian president for the next five years on Sept. 23, according to the Postimees daily.
Sixty-six have not disclosed their preference, the daily said.
The estimate is based on the assumption that all party deputies and deputies who secured a seat on a local council in a party ticket will vote in accordance with the party line.
