Lithuania wins first FIBA game

VILNIUS - After missing the Women's World Basketball Championship's first game due to border problems, the Lithuanian team celebrated a 84 - 58 victory in their group D second round match against Canada yesterday.
This was the first loss in two games for the Canadian team, while Lithuania, having missed one match, which equates to a 0-2 loss against Australia, will proceed to its second game with one win. Lithuania plays Senegal today.
