Number of HIV cases grows steadily

RIGA - Approximately 160 people have been infected with HIV this year, which is nearly equal to the same period last year, the Latvian AIDS Prevention Center reported.In the first six months of 2005, the number of HIV positive people rose by 153, while 299 new cases were reported over the whole year.
