Most of us love to be in a boat. And it does not matter if the boat is a one person kayak or a large yacht. The wind in our hair and the spray in our faces refreshes us in the hot summer heat and brings out the adventurer in all of us.
The Baltics are blessed with lakes, streams, rivers and, of course, the sea. This means that the options for a boating adventure are almost limitless. One just needs to choose their type of boat and the number of outfitters and tour groups in each country is surprising.
But please do not forget that with adventure comes responsibility. For most of us, the idea of driving a car while intoxicated is unimaginable. At the same time, boating and a few cold ones seem to go hand in hand. Summertime is a time to relax, but while having fun this summer, please remember that drinking and boating can be a dangerous mix.
