Estonia's Center Party's governing board on July 17 decided to begin talks with the People's Union on the presidential election.
Center Party spokespeople told BNS the board had sent a three-member delegation, made up of party chairman Edgar Savisaar, Ain Seppik and general secretary Kadri Must.
The decision to meet came as a response to a letter from the People's Union calling for the two parties to work together.
