VILNIUS - The Lithuanian Film Studio has started preparations for the shooting of the largest and most expensive film project in Lithuania.
The shooting of War and Peace, a film based on the novel by Russian writer Leo Tolstoy, will start in various places throughout Lithuania in early August.
The project will be the biggest and most expensive film project ever staged in the country, Lithuanian Film Studio Director Ramunas Skikas said.
War and Peace is a joint project of companies from countries across Europe, including Italy, Germany, Russia, and Lithuania.
