British citizen detained for violating the public order

VILNIUS - ON Thursday [ July 6]another British citizen urinated on the wall of the Lithuanian President's Office in Vilnius.

Liucija Boruseviciene, the head of the Vilnius 3rd police commissioner's office, has told BNS that the incident occurred at around 5 a.m. VIP Protection Department officers saw the young man urinating on the wall of the President's Office through surveillance cameras.

They detained the offender.

In Boruseviciene's words, the blood alcohol level of the 21-year-old Briton stood at 2 promile. After being told that he had urinated on the wall of the president's chancellery, the Briton apologized and said he was very sorry.

The Briton was fined 150 litas (EUR 43) for violating public order and was released.

Several more foreigners were detained over the past several years for urinating on the President's Office.
