Crashed airplane had earlier belonged to Repse

RIGA - The airplane that crashed in Ikskile area in central Latvia on Wednesday [June 28] and resulted two deaths, had earlier belonged to New Era party leader and former Prime Minister Einars Repse, Latvian commercial TV3 television reported on Thursday.
The television also said that the airplane that crashed in Bergi near Riga in 2001 also belonged to Repse.
According to BNS report, Repse's income declaration submitted this year after stepping down from the defense minister's position lists an airplane Cessna 150. Last year he sold his other airplane Cessna 152 for 31,000 lats (EUR 44,109) to company Aeronavigacijas Serviss (Air Navigation Service).
