VILNIUS - Vandals have torn down 19 monuments at a Jewish cemetery in Vilnius.
Valentinas Kotovas of a Vilnius police commissioner's office has told Lithuania's national radio that a cemetery administrator saw overturned monuments on Sunday and called the police.
Simonas Alperavicius, chairman of Lithuania's Jewish community, said that the culprits must be found and punished.
