Arnold Ruutel: Estonian-Romanian relations are based on a similar world outlook

TALLINN - Romania's Ambassador Lucian Fatu on June 15 presented his credentials to Estonian President Arnold Ruutel.
During the meeting Ruutel said that the Estonian-Romanian relations are based on a similar world outlook and similar aspirations, the president's office reported.
"Enlargement (of the EU) is important for the stability and security of Europe as a whole and we are sincerely pleased to see Romania headed for EU membership," the president said.
According to Fatu, Romania has watched with interest Estonian reforms and is grateful for the shared experience of the EU accession process.
