June 9 - 14 's Rainer Werner Fassbinder, an openly gay man who married twice, was the dark prince of German cinema in the 1960s and '70s. He was terribly prolific, making 41 movies in 13 years. And it's hard not to love a man who once said, "Love is the best, most insidious, most effective instrument of social repression. "The Soprus cinema in Tallinn will present a partial retrospective of his work, including "Gods of the Plague" and "The American Soldier."
