Tallink to buy three fast ferries

TALLINN 's Tallink, the Baltics' largest passenger ferry company, announced that it has signed purchase agreement for three superfast ferries worth a total 310 million euros.
Company officials said they would use the three Ro-Pax ships for routes connecting Estonia with Finland and Germany.
As Enn Pant, CEO of the Tallink Group, said, "The Estonia-Finland route allows us to meet the growing cargo demand. The Germany route creates for Tallink new opportunities for growth and development and an opportunity to enter the central European market."
