VILNIUS 's Arturas Paulauskas, chairman of the Seimas, reiterated this week that Lithuania should continue demanding that Russia pay for damages caused by some 50 years of occupation. He said Lithuanian officials raise the issue continually with their Russian counterparts at bilateral meetings.
"There are laws in force. There is the nation's will stated in referendum, and we have to execute and implement the decisions," he said in a radio interview on Wednesday.
