Unending vendetta

Alan Moore has completely disowned "V for Vendetta," the film version of a graphic novel he wrote in the 1980s that imagines a future fascistic England where homosexuals are placed in concentration camps.

The film, which was made by the Wachowski brothers, the same prodigy team that gave us the "Matrix" trilogy, fails to excite the cult comic book author, according to a March 12 interview with The New York Times. "I've read the screenplay. It's rubbish." It's always the same old story.
