During the International Baltic Ballet Festival, Gregory Hancock's Dance Theatre will offer a more socially conscious approach to terpsichorean pleasure. The troupe's choreography seeks to transcend barriers that divide the world, while enlightening and educating audiences of all ages.
Set to Spanish tunes, cuchi cuchi is an exuberant dance. A tongue-in-cheek mix of humor, affection, and relentless athleticism, cuchi cuchi has been described as "a party onstage." This fun fiesta is one of Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre's most requested and light-hearted pieces.
The guest performance will take place on March 16 at 7 p.m. in Krustpils Culture Center.
