Saxophonist Daniel Erdmann will give two jazz concerts with his quartet next week in Estonia. The band, composed of the best improvisational musicians in Europe, has played more then 75 concerts in Germany, France, Portugal, Switzerland and the Netherlands. "Such varied jazz doesn't need a stylistic classification," one critic has written. "It's simply a joy for the audience."

Thu 16 's Wed 22 's 11th International Baltic Ballet Festival.
Ballet is almost synonymous with Riga, having produced such famous figures as Maris Liepa, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Aleksander Godunov, Vladimir Gelvan and others. In keeping with the tradition, the International Baltic Ballet Festival each year brings together ballet stars from the Baltics and its neighbors.
