The international conference "Impact of European Union Enlargement on Tourism Development in Europe" will take place in Vilnius on 1-2 March, 2006. The Lithuanian Department of Tourism together with the World Tourism Organization is organizing the event.
The conference will include presentations by delegates from the European Commission, the World Tourism Organization, and both old and new member states of the European Union. Other continents will also be represented.
The Lithuania Ministry of Economy, the Lithuanian Department of Tourism and other state institutions sponsoring this event hope that representatives of the Lithuanian tourism business will also gather again at VIVATOUR 's the only trade fair of tourism, sports and leisure in Lithuania.
