Over the last two years the Soros Foundation has been the editorial target of a massive "kill-campaign," with a newspaper accusing the foundation of controlling the country through numerous proxies and illicit financing. But opposition has grown in recent weeks, with some politicians claiming that the foundation is responsible for a slew of societal ills.
