Printmaking IN Festival

This year, the 10th annual Parnu printmaking festival has picked up an American flavor. Ernest Truly, a well-known performance artist from the American group Living Circle, will bring his unique creativity to Estonia. Going beyond labels and borders, the talented printmaker has branched into other art genres. Truly uses hot metal and the human body as his technical means, which never fails to stun. Another festival highlight will be the exhibition "Golden Years of Estonian Printmaking," which documents rarities from the 1970s, when vanguard artists sent their work to the international bienniales in secret, trying to avoid Soviet censors.
