Ministry official attacked on Russian train

VILNIUS 's The Lietuvos Rytas reported on Wednesday that a Foreign Ministry official was attacked on a Russian train headed to Kaliningrad.

The event occurred several weeks ago and was kept silent by ministry officials, but according to the paper, Robertas Galkus, a ministry attache, was assaulted after a drunk Russian passenger forced his way into Galkus' berth. The extent of his injuries was not reported, though his cell phone was broken.

According to reports, the attacker was later detained by police.
