TALLINN 's Education Minister Mailis Reps said that tuition in Estonia's upper education institutions would continue to be free.

"If a tuition fee is introduced everywhere there'll be the risk that a part of would-be students cannot enter a higher educational institution because of financial reasons," Reps was quoted by the Postimees on Tuesday.

Reps was responding to calls by several high-placed university officials who have called for Estonian student to pay up to 25 percent of their tuition fees.
