Sacha Baron Cohen, the creator of Ali G, looks set to continue his rise to stardom. Cohen has signed on to star in "Curly Oxide and Vic Thrill," which will be written by Tina Fey ("Mean Girls").
The story is about a Hasidic Jew who forms a band with a veteran hard rocker and is said to be based on true events. Other upcoming projects include feature roles in an untitled motor racing comedy opposite Will Ferrell, an English-language remake of the French farce "Diner de Cons" and a feature-length treatment for his minor character Borat.
