VILNIUS - Opponents of the oppositional Liberal and Center Union leader are establishing a new political force - the Lithuanian Liberal Movement.
On Wednesday, politicians signed a manifestation that hoped to create a "political miracle."
"Today we are taking a determined, stable and efficient step toward the creation of a liberal movement in Lithuania. The Christmas season is related with expectation of a miracle, and we hope to create a political miracle," MP Petras Austrevicius, titled in informal circles as potential leader, told a news conference.
The Liberals will soon begin collecting signatures to register the new political party.
