SPEAK FOOTBALL?

The Goethe-Institut's photo exhibition "Planet Football" contains pictures taken by leading Magnum Photo agency photographers. The project hopes to speak in a language that everybody in the world understands 's football. The exhibition

analyzes the meaning and role of football through art, theatre, dance, film, music and literature. Uncommon, unusual? Definitely. The exhibit will go on to tour 80 countries.

SOUNDS OF SILENCE

Fri 4 - Sun 6, Sun 13 - During this year's silent film festival, some of the most significant silent movies from the 1920s and '30s will be shown. The visual show will be accompanied by live music. Organizers intend to gather well-known Lithuanian musicians as well as bands from abroad. The show will bring you back to the early 20th century, when cinema was golden.
