VILNIUS - 2005 has been a news blitz for Lithuania's furniture industry. Above and beyond the myriad share transactions that make for an intimidating ownership flowchart, it seems that not a month goes by without an announcement of a grand investment project. The most recent came from Vakaru Medienos Grupe (Western Timber Group), which said it intends to build a 160 million euro chipboard plant in central Lithuania.
