Mike Myers has signed up to play The Who's legendary drummer Keith Moon in a planned biopic which is being produced by the band's frontman Roger Daltrey.
According to Variety magazine, Myers has long been interested in the role but previous engagements prevented him from committing to the project. Myers is a major box office draw and his involvement in the film is sure to have distributors lining up for distribution rights. The role will be Myers' first on-camera (as opposed to voiceover) role since "The Cat in the Hat" in 2003.
