TALLINN - After a recent scandal with Police Chief Robert Antropov, who used a department vehicle for personal purposes, Prime Minister Andrus Ansip said it was no longer possible to trust the official, the daily Postimees reported.

"I thought the issue was exhausted, but the emergence of new circumstances surprises me very much," Ansip said.

According to the newspaper, Ansip expressed deep disappointment over Antropov's dishonesty when he failed to explain which vehicle he took and who he had chauffeured on Midsummer's Eve.

"The police general has told neither me nor the interior minister everything pertaining to the matter, although we both trusted him," Ansip said.
