After submitting his resignation in protest of the new tax reform, Finance Minister Algirdas Butkevicius has placed himself in the center of political controversy in Lithuania. For the government's detractors, his sudden exodus is evidence of a wider vulnerability that will soon sink the entire Cabinet.
