Judo

Men's Tallinn Judo World Cup 2005, a stage of the judo world championship, will take place in Saku Hall sports arena (104b Paldiski Rd.) on March 26 and 27. The heavyweights are scheduled for the second day, preliminaries begin at 11:00, and finals start every day from 15:00. After the recent successes of Estonian judo wrestlers Indrek Pertelson and Aleksei Budolin, the sport has become one of Estonia's most popular events. Doors open at 10:00, free admission.

Animation Film Festival

Bimini Third International Animation Film Festival combines creative experience with the search for new ideas, styles and technologies, and integrates Latvian animation into the global genre along the way. More than 150 films will be represented featuring both competitive and non-competitive pieces, as well as a retrospective and informative programs. Latin Dancing

The European Latin Dance Championship will heat up Siemens Arena (Ozo St. 14a, Vilnius) on March 26. Couples from 35 European countries will take part in this fiery competition. Born in Latin America, this sensual form of partner dancing has found a niche in almost all corners of the world. Both world champions "In Culto" and "Zuvedra" will be bringing their talents to Vilnius. It's a spectacle not to be missed.
