TALLINN - Estonian Airlines plans to open new flights out of Tallinn Airport this spring with Amsterdam, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Milan and Manchester on the list of destinations.

The timetable, however, is not yet final, and further routes could be added, said Kristel Saulepp, the airport's marketing manager.

Meanwhile, Sweden's City Airline is set to start flying from Tallinn to Gothenburg on March 21. KLM will launch flights on the Tallinn-Amsterdam route beginning March 27, and FlyNordic will open Tallinn-Stockholm and Tallinn-Copenhagen lines on March 28.

As for Estonia's national carrier, service on the Tallinn-Milan route will begin March 30. On May 10, the airlines will set off for Manchester. Estonian Air will stop flights between Tallinn and Gothenburg on March 2, a move that will have little effect on the airport's increasing flight traffic.
