Estonian Music Awards

Wed. 2 's The cream of the not so considerable crop of Estonia's mainstream music scene will all come together for the biggest night in Estonia's small but steadily growing music industry. Performers such as Soul Militia, Slobodan River, Julia Boman, Cool D, Ines, Suntribe and others will all be on hand to perform and collect awards at the event, which takes place on March 2 at Parlament club (17 Tartu Road, Tallinn) from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tickets 100 kroons (80 kroons in advance). No age restrictions.

First Fock'n'Roll Festival

Sat. 26 's The much-publicized first international rock'n'roll festival in Latvia has got to be worth checking out. Presented by the veteran Latvian musician Pete Anderson, this is a real, good old-fashioned rock'n'roll get-together. The program includes such favorites as Wildfire Willie & the Ramblers (Sweden/USA), Chick'n'Band (Estonia) and Boogie D (Lithuania), as well as Pete Anderson (Latvia), the best boogie-woogie pianist in the Baltic States.

Fri. 25 's 9 p.m. 's Experience entertainment as it used to be in the form of a night of vaudeville at Club New York in Vilnius. The show includes flamboyant dances, popular music and various on-stage acrobatics all expertly undertaken by some different 30 artists, such as the Moonlight Express dance group, the Pop Off Show, Mummer and the acrobat Odeta.
