Lithuanian oil refinery to shut down

VILNIUS (BNS) - The Lithuanian oil refinery Mazeikiu Nafta will shut its refining facilities on Friday Oct.15 due to a lack of crude oil, Vidmantas Macevicius, the director general of the oil complex, said Oct. 11.The refinery, which has been operating at half-capacity since Oct. 4, will run dry of crude because Russia halted deliveries Oct. 9.
