INVOLVEMENT DENIED: Estonia's Foreign Ministry has said it has no knowledge of any of its nationals fighting with Islamic rebels in Dagestan despite Russian press reports to the contrary. On Aug. 24, Russia's NTV cited Russian Interior Ministry sources as claiming that Baltic mercenaries were active in the trouble region while recently ultra nationalist Vladimir Zhirinovski accused Balts of sending money to the separatists.
