Acid discovered on Coke bottles

TALLINN (BNS) - Inspectors in Tallinn last month discovered an acidic substance - possibly sulphuric acid - on plastic bottles of Coca-Cola at the Celtic shop in the Estonian capital.The discovery marked the first potential "Coke scare" in Northeastern Europe. Earlier this summer, people in Belgium and France became nauseous after consuming Coke bottled in those countries.Coca-Cola's Estonian spokeswoman Kiira Kure said employees together with Aare Lahe, head of the health protection inspectorate's central lab, discovered the contaminated bottles in the Celtic shop in the Old Town of Tallin...
