VILNIUS - A new shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) is to be delivered to Klaipeda on Saturday.
According to the vessel positions tracking website Marinetraffic.com, the Arctic Princess is to enter the Lithuanian port at around 6 a.m.
Some 75,900 cubic meters of the 140,000-cubic-meter shipment are being delivered for Litgas, according to the supply schedule published on the gas trade company's website.
Based on information available to BNS, the remaining gas is destined for the fertilizer manufacturer Achema.
Both companies purchase gas from Norway's Statoil.
Lietuvos Duju Tiekimas (Lithuanian Gas Supply, or LDT), another gas supplier, buys gas from the US gas trading companies Koch Supply & Trading, Cheniere Marketing International and Natural Gas Fenosa.
