New Daugavpils-Vilnius train service to begin running this weekend

RIGA - Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai (Lithuanian Railways) is launching its weekend train service between Vilnius and Latvia's second-biggest city of Daugavpils today.

The Daugavpils-Vilnius trains will depart at 8:57 a.m. and 3:41 p.m., while the Vilnius-Daugavpils trains will depart at 5:42 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

These trains will only run on the weekends and will take 2.5 hours.
