National Alliance to hold congress this Saturday

RIGA - The National Alliance will hold a congress this Saturday, the party informed. 

The National Alliance's representative Kristaps Gulbis told LETA that he congress will take place at on Saturday, December 14, at the National Library of Latvia. 

In Gulbis' words, delegates at the congress are expected to elect the party's new board and chairman. While competition for the seats on the National Alliance's board is going to be tough, current leader Raivis Dzintars is the candidate to the post of chairman. 

Representatives of the National Alliance said that in the current circumstances it is their duty to seek answers to the question - "how to preserve and strengthen our nation".

Speakers at the congress will include Dzintars, Saeima Speaker Inara Murniece, European Parliament member Roberts Zile, Saeima member Janis Dombrava and Ieva Silina, chairperson of the Association of Latvian Young Scientists.
