RIGA - Moldova's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu, is due to arrive in Latvia on a working visit this Thursday, LETA was told at the Latvian Foreign Ministry.
The ministry informed that Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics' (New Unity) talks with Popescu are expected to focus on bilateral relations, Moldova's integration with the European Union (EU), the impact of Russia's war in Ukraine on Moldova, as well as other current issues concerning regional security, including the energy and migration crisis.
The meeting between the Latvian and Moldovan foreign ministers will be followed by a joint news conference.
