Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary to arrive in Latvia for working visit

RIGA - On January 10, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto, will be in Latvia on a working visit, LETA learned from the Latvian Foreign Ministry.

Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics (New Unity) in a conversation with his Hungarian colleague will be discussing bilateral cooperation, security policy, relations with neighboring countries and issues high on the European Union agenda. 

The Ministers will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on Enhanced Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.

During his visit, the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade will meet with the Minister of Economy, Ralfs Nemiro (KPV LV), and the Director of the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence, Janis Sarts.
