Minimum wage increases by EUR 10 to EUR 380 from today

RIGA - From today, the minimum wage will increase by EUR 10, meaning that it will reach EUR 380. In 2016, the minimum wage in Latvia was EUR 370. According to information from the Central Statistical Bureau, there were 177,800 employed persons in April of this year who received a monthly salary of EUR 370 or less. 144,500 of these employed persons worked in the private sector, while 30,600 in the public sector.
