Member of the board of the Estonian Center Party and MEP Yana Toom in a Russian talk show aired on August 26 compared the events of the year 1940 in Estonia with the modern so-called color revolutions.
"But what happened in 1940 -- it seems to me that it was likely something similar to our unloved color revolutions -- the splitting of the elite, demonstrations -- some are in favor, some are against, something like that," Toom said on the talk show "Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov" aired on the Rossiya television channel.
