RIGA - Latvia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Canadian procurement agency Canadian Commercial Corporation on strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of military procurement, the Defense Ministry informed LETA.
Defense Minister Andris Spruds (Progressives) also attended the signing ceremony.
The memorandum provides for cooperation in the field of military equipment, infrastructure and services, laying the foundation for the development of joint projects in the future.
Spruds stressed that this type of agreement strengthens inter-state defense cooperation.
