RIGA - The first vaccination centers will begin work in eight Latvian cities today, the Health Ministry informs.
The vaccination centers will open from 10:00 a.m.
Three vaccination centers will open up in Riga - at the Kipsala Exhibition Center, the Atta center and the Riga Central Market's Gastronomy Pavilion.
Vaccination centers in Valmiera, Rezekne, Daugavpils, Jekabpils, Jelgava, Liepaja and Jurmala will also open today.
The vaccination centers will be open until 6:00 p.m.
The vaccination centers in Riga, Jelgava, Liepaja and Jurmala will also work on Sunday and Monday, while the ones in Valmiera, Rezekne, Jekabbpils and Daugavpils will only be working today.
The vaccination center in Cesis will begin work tomorrow, and will also be open on Monday.
A total of 9,883 vaccine doses will be available during the Easter holidays at these vaccination centers.
